The initial stage of any venture is full of struggle, hardship and difficulties be it entering into the new profession or opening a new company. The beginning of the Secrist Doll Company was also full of struggle though in the end the people associated with it got success.

The Initial stage of the company

The company came into existence in 1983 with a plan to manufacture dolls and open toys shops. It all begin with an installation of kiln in the basement of the small apartment and utilization of sculpting skills that Pet Secrist learnt from his mother. His wife Joanna also played a very crucial part in establishing the Secrist Doll Company.
