Recent variations of miniature doll houses owe their present role to numerous European companies which initiated diverse productions of miniature doll houses. Production of various doll house miniatures at around sixteenth century were started by diverse German and British companies.
Some of the important British companies which produced different miniature doll houses include Siber & Fleming, Evans & Cartwright and Lines Brothers. Though American companies too, started to enter in the scenario very soon. As the Nineteenth Century came to an end various American companies begin to produce the miniature doll houses.
Therefore the doll house miniatures were noticed for the first time in USA as well, at the end of the nineteenth century through the Bliss Manufacturing Company.
Soon after some other companies too, started to produce numerous miniature doll houses. The TynieToy Company of Providence, Rhode Island produced reliable imitations of numerous American antique houses and furniture. These were done in a standardized scale that initiated in about 1917.
Some notable companies initiated production of the doll house miniatures in the early twentieth century. These companies include the Wisconsin Toy Co, Tootsietoy, Roger Williams Toys, and Schoenhut.
In other parts of the world too, the production of miniature doll houses were initiated with great interest. Some of the great variations of doll house miniatures were produced in country like Japan.
