Pat Secrist gave a new direction to doll manufacturing and designing. He had a kid’s heart and thought most of the time while playing with rubber band guns and bull frogs which inspired him to create his own toy factory.
Since childhood days, Pat Secrist loved casting clay figures, sculpting and reshaping them. He learnt all this from his mother. He always wished to use his artistic skills in his business so subsequently he established his own toy factory. His wife, Joanna also contributed significantly to expanding the business by using her skill in sewing and designing clothes for dolls.
The first line of doll that Pat Secrist launched was a Zook doll, which got its name from Joanna’s maiden name. Pat Secrist’s Zook dolls got overwhelming response from both the young and the old and the reason was simple, their outstanding resemblance to the human figure and their attractive appearance.
Seeing such a tremendous response from people, Pat Secrist came up with a new line of dolls like Secrist dolls and Apple Valley dolls. These dolls precious pragmatism creates an astonishing relationship with dolls lovers
